Spring 2008 marked the debut of the USE unused collection in the U.S. Already a widely popular brand throughout Europe, USE unusedlaunched their first collection in 2005 and has become one of the most successful young fashion designer teams in Hungary. After graduating from the MOME (University of Art and Design Budapest), where they won numerous fashion awards and scholarships, designers Eszter Füzes, Attila Juhász-Godena and András Tóth formed the brand to appeal to the stylish, active and modern woman. In 2007, USE unused was awarded Best Professional Designer at the Hungarian Fashion Awards. The designers are inspired by the aesthetic and philosophy of the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s combined with modern styles to create unique, sophisticated silhouettes. The USE unused woman is confident and sexy with an artistic and professional interest. She wears USE unused suiting to her lunch meetings during the day and enjoys a cocktail in a chic dress at night. The Spring 2008 collection incorporates eco-friendly fabrics such as organic bamboo and cotton/linen.
