Recap of Suicide Squad Isekai Episodes 1-3
The anime kicks off with Harley Quinn and the Joker executing a heist, followed by a thrilling escape from the police. Meanwhile, Amanda Waller is desperately trying to keep a portal open. Amidst the chaos, Harley is captured by Katana and subsequently sent on a mission to another world alongside Deadshot, Clayface, King Shark, and Peacemaker.
However, the mission quickly spirals out of control as their handler is killed, and the team is imprisoned. In jail, they encounter Rick Flag and discover they are the second squad Waller has sent through the portal. After managing to break free and seize control of the prison, they are granted an audience with the Queen by Cecil. They learn that the first group sent in defected to the empire after escaping. Peacemaker proposes a deal to the Queen to resolve the situation by defeating the empire’s forces.
The Queen agrees but takes Rick as a hostage to ensure their cooperation. The team then heads to the battlefield, where Deadshot realises his former comrade is leading the enemy forces. Their complicated history becomes apparent, but they manage to defeat Ratcatcher, albeit at the cost of destroying the castle. Episode 3 concludes with Katana arriving and taking Ratcatcher away.
